Photo comment By AndrewHawkey: Paul, you've excelled yourself with these new 2016 shots. I'm particularly sad to see that the Great Abbey farmhouse at Strata Florida is still unoccupied and looking forlorn. This is such a fabulous and historic house, built largely from stone borrowed form the original abbey's materials - I know there's ongoing plans for the development of the whole complex, and a useful role would be found for the house, but the years are rolling by, nothing's happening ... that is such a precious ad special house, and it needs LIVING IN!!! If I was twenty years younger, I'd be lobbying to take on the task of living in it ... Seriously.
Photo comment By cheesey peas: just love your web site fantastik
Photo comment By Julian Wormald: Absolutely stunning site and photos, Paul. I have a blog/website and would like to provide a link to your site next time, in the context of a project I've recently started on trying to amass a collection of snowdrops from derelict/older Welsh properties ...often snowdrops are the only hint of former dwellings, and for other reasons, I'm fascinated that so little is known about snowdrops of Welsh origin. I wondered if you'd mind if I provided a link to this fabulous set of images? Best wishes Julian Wormald, Gelli Uchaf. Our website is called the garden impressionists PS we live in a now restored from the brink longhouse, so many of your images resonate particularly well with us.
Photo comment By ed Lewis: Hi Paul, May I congratulate you on such a fantastic site. We have been looking at the railway line and the many buildings, halts and stations along its route, finding your photos of some of them has been a great help. Great site... Regards
